Update at Livin-It-Up April 24, 2004
Greetings, and once again, we welcome all of you out there in Simland to another "over the top" update at Livin-It-Up.net.
This time around, with over 200 free downloads in the update including ten sets, you'll find everything you need to create a light, soothing, earthy environment for your Simmies. Toss in the two fantastic donor items offered in this update, a luscious leather living room set by JohnAdaone which includes a unique functional four tile coffee table, and the mystical "Gnomon" which gives your Simmies magic spell casting abilities with no expansions required from Gnohmon, and, again, as we stated, "over the top".
Gnohmon?. Who's that you ask?. Ahh, our chance to welcome Gnohmon to our staff. He's the guy who's been lurking around Livin-It-Up for a month or so, the newsgroups longer, working on some great projects, but up 'till this update hadn't submitted to the site. Finally, we can officially welcome Gnohmon to the Livin-It-Up staff! He brings two more interesting objects to the hacked section of the site. First is kind of a three-in-one, one object file with three versions, a magical trio of flamingo's. Number one illuminates everything, including your Simmies, the second acts as the kill switch to halt illumination, and the third "devalues" the objects on your lot, meaning no bill increases for living the high life while the resale value of the objects remain at their defaults. Is it just me, or does that last function sound a bit too much like a great US tax shelter? Next we have Alice's Mushroom that, much like the story goes, one side makes you larger, one side makes you small. Join us in a warm welcome of Gnohmon won't you?

In the "Everything old is new again!" category for this update, back by popular demand, this time it's a living room blowout. Nine fantastic room groups from the old Flotsim&Jetsim site by Libby and Wendy. You can't go wrong downloading one, or even all, of these phenomenal furniture sets.
Ohmikeghod has designed a group of imperial gold columns, not to mention matching floors and walls as well. vix whipped up a bunch of stylish four-tile square rugs to throw about. In our sets section, beyond the refurbished items of Flotsim&Jetsim, is a wonderfully funky retro living room in aquamarine, courtesy of Mhari. It's plush, bold and bright, just what your trendy Sims ordered. We have four marvelous new residences available, by glasgurl and Sweetheart, a truly inspired 53 walls and 18 floors by vix and Ohmikeghod, as well as in our Do It Yourself section, a new two tiled painting base by Mhari.
Add to all of these goodies, vix has several sexy new summer skins for the ladies. Bringing two whole new skins sections to the site, girl heads and boy heads, Mhari came up with nine new children's heads to kick off those sections. It all adds up to one heck of an update folks!
Topping it all off, at least for us, we've got cause to say thanks. MightySims has honored us with the award of best download site. Thank You!! We're not entirely sure we're "the best", but we sure love trying and the ego boost is always appreciated for sure.
