A Very Pine Valley Halloween
Posted for you, Rella, as requested:
Topic of the day (March 2 : Daydreaming--By some miracle (or an evil genius' slightly insane plot...why mince words?), the baby Kendall is carrying turned out to be Simone's and Ryass's. Ryass and Simone become Rimone and raise the boy. A year later, the newly remarried Slaters receive joyous news--they are going to have a baby. True to the Kane woman DNA, Kendall gives birth to a girl. Now, Shep jr. is 5 and Baby Girl Slater (name her what you will), is 3. It's Halloween. The Slater's plan to celebrate at home, since their daughter is a little young to trick-or-treat. Shep inc. (Rimone + Shep jr.) go trick-or-treating and unwittingly end up ringing the Slater's doorbell. Suddenly, a raging storm crops up, and Shep Inc. and the Slater family are trapped together in the house all night. What hijinks ensue? You can add whatever details you want, but all the adults must be in costume--Kendall selected Zach's, and Zach selected Kendall's.
Here's my suggestion for the topic of the day, written in Dr. Seussian verse:
A Very Pine Valley Halloween
Ryan, of course, is dressed as a clown
With a red rubber nose and a painted on frown
Simone is lovely, elegant, chic
Dressed as a princess who married a geek.
Kendall’s dressed Zach as the King of her heart
In his crown and his robes he’s playing his part
And he has made Kendall his Queen over all
A red rose in bloom, the belle of the ball.
The children are dressed as cute as can be
Little Miss Slater’s a magic fairy
While Ryan’s young boy, all energy,
Is costumed as Frankenstein’s Monster Lavery.
They were eating their candy when—bang!—in a flash
The lights all went out and Ryan spit, a big splash
Yuck! Simone shouted, and slapped at his face
Trying to put that big clown in his place.
“I have a solution to bring us some lights
Let’s use the reflection of his eyes—of the whites!
Open your eyes, Ryan, open them wide!”
Simone then suggested and ran off to hide.
The brilliance was blinding but oh, what a sight
When he opened his eyes, all at once, they had light!
Hooray! They all shouted. Shep saved the day!
“Now jump on your bike,” Zach said. “and go away.”
