Kaya stepped hesitantly into her newest packlands. A far cry from the belladonna pack, this one was. So far she had seen no one, and had only barely caught a whiff of them. Like a pack of ghosts, they were.

Like the ghost pack that followed her in her heart. Her parents, and her beloved hybrid. Her parents were dead, and her beloved had abandonded her, for the humans.

Humans. Bah. She still didn't see what he had. A collar and a chain was not the way she intended to live, even if it was what he wanted. "I'll become your mate if you come with me, kaya. She snorted at the memory of his pleading brown eyes. She ratehr would have died than gone to the humans.

She had had a bad experiance with the humans as a pup. Some scientists had captured her and poked and prodded at her, then stuck her with those sharp things that hurt. She shuddered at the memory of their intrusion into her life, then she mentally shook herself.

Be alert Kaya. Who knows what is waiting out here? She continued to slowly pad through the lands, her keen nose seperating the old wolf scent from the new. So someone was nearby, hm? Perhaps she should pay them a visit. Just a friendly little tackle, a little game. The wolfess liked games. She began to follow the scent, then came to where she could see the wolf.

She snuck up slowly, her body close to the ground. Then she paused, waiting until she knew the wolf was off gaurd. Without any warning, she pounced at the wolf, laughing.

Two wolves. That was all that had come to the valley... Just two. Dakota looked over his world, wondering where his two members were. Kaya he barely knew and Lobo was a mystery on his own. He was going to have to be watched, his rank would be raised within time and so would Kaya's. He would first have to get to know them better. A soft sigh escaped the brute's maw and the wind danced around him.

All of the sudden, the large male fell to the ground, tackled by one of his packmates. Dakota jumped up, his hackles bristling and teeth bore at the unsuspected 'attack'. When he realized who the other was and the innocence in her eyes, Dakota lowered his hackled and his teeth baring turned into a grin. He wagged his tail and pounced on Kaya, happy for the company of another within his pack.

Kaya grinned at the male, then sat and licked her front paw rather like a cat would. She smiled as she looked back at the male, who had been startled. "Hello. I hope you remember me; I'm Kaya." Her deep blue eyes sparkled as she looked at Dakota.

She stood back up, her fur only slightly ruffled from the mock tussle. "I'm sorry if I hurt you. I just like to play." Her tail wagged slightly as she smiled at him, hoping he wasn't going to be angry with her. That was the last thing she needed, was to offend her Tokahe. She wanted to move up in the ranks, not be removed from the pack.

The multi-colored male wagged his tail happily and eyed the she-wolf. Kaya... She seemed to be under the impression that he didn't know her. He could understand that; after all they hadn't really met each other, he just accepted her quickly. Dakota grinned and caught her gaze for a few moments. He could see fear of being demoted or kicked out of the pack. Dakota tilted his head, he was a much laid back Alpha. If anything he wanted his members to play so that they could relieve stress.

A grin crossed the male's maw and he nosed her to say all was well and that she was well off in the pack.
Don't worry, Kaya. I won't demote you nor will I kick you out. You have done nothing wrong. Dakota wagged his tail to emphasize his point. All wolves within his pack were safe and wouldn't be punished for any good reasons. For a few moments he wondered where Lobo had ventured off to, a wolf like that needed to be watched, and watched carefully at that.

Sorry for being inactive my computer got a little messed up for ezboard sites so hopefully my new one works better

    IC:
Grey almost white hue was hidden in the bushes watching the wolves green eyes glinted with ahint of something, what was unknown to all even him. He gave a faint smirk yawning as he did so, tiredness had overcome him at last in a while. He lay down among the bushes licking his paw, the paw which in it's pad held a sharp thorn. 'Stupid thorn' He thought to himself beginning to bit on it growling faintly to himself hopefully. Failure was something new to him and man did it anger him, with a twitch of his auds he bit sharply into his paw moving his teeth among it. Still nothing came, if this didn't anger the brute nothing did, nothing at all was worse then failing. With his other paw the brute careful dragged it over eyeing the placement of the thorn, then with a heave he dug his dulling claw into his pad digging for the thorn. The look upon his face when the thorn was upon the ground was amazing, one he never knew he could use a smile came across his face and as the brute was happy a memory came inside his mind, a memory.....

Two pups lay in a valley, one of grey/white hue the other of pure black. The black one turned suddenly tail wagging as it did so. "Lobo?" It asked as it did so it's voice came out that of a female's, the other pup turned wondering what she was to say. 'Yes?' He asked look on his face clearly not knowing. "What's in the sky?" She asked the boy thought for a moment thinking of something. 'Well if we knew all mysteries in life what would we do in life?' He replied clearly he had been told by someone else the female blinked turning back to the sky. "Never thought of it before..." Her voice trailed off then she turned once more Lobo was once again staring at the sky. "Lobo?" She asked he turned back. 'Yes?' He asked once more the female stood up grinning. "TAG!" She called leaping ontop him... The memory faded away leaving a confuse adult hue the same color as the small male. 'Who was that?' He muttered eyes closed trying to bring back the memory but failed of course he sighed faintly of course right now there was nothing on his mind but the memory and trying to figure who was the black pup in it...

The brute looked over in the direction where he had heard leaves rustling. Hackles raised and stood on end until the wind brought to him a familiar scent. Dakota sighed and calmed himself and grinned, Lobo was finally around. Dakota wagged his tail and trotted silently towards the bushes and behind the other male. He was about to pounce on him when Lobo tried to gnaw the thorn out of his paw. Then it seemed the mysterious male stopped moving and Dakota could sense some weird aura around Lobo.

The Alpha Male sat back upon his haunches and tilted his head as he observed the ashen-snow male. Dakota narrowed his eyes as he heard Lobo say, 'Was that?'. Somehow Dakota figured the male had gotten a memory. Perhaps all the male needed was to be surrounded by other wolves and in a pack to remember his past. The young adult also wondered what could have happened to make this male forget his past. So many unanswered questions that he knew would be answered in time.

Thanks sorry a bit brain-dead right now...

    OOC:

No movement came from him as he heard the pawsteps and the breathing of another, he was prepared to be attacked then it hit him reminding him it was the scent of Dakota. He relaxed slightly a bit ashamed he had been so into his thoughts he had forgotten where he was.... He shook his head knowing it was best now to face Dakota as he would get no more info from his thoughts, none at all.

Slowly though it didn't show the slowness for one reason or another he stood up for a moment turning around causally to face the alphen, maw dipped of course as he did so. The look in his eyes showed what Dakota already had a hunch about, the fact that finally a memory had come to him.

The large male stood regally in front of Lobo though his demeanor didn't exactly say it. Posture was damn near everything in the wolf's language and the male was no exception. A slight grin crossed Dakota's maw as he looked upon Lobo. When the other male bowed his head, Dakota returned the gesture. It was odd for an Alpha to show so much respect to his packmates, but Dakota wasn't like other wolves. He had manners and had known them since he was a pup. His father had never respected his pack as much as they respected him.

In Dakota's mind it was you give as good as you get. To get respect he figured you had to give it. Other saw it differently but that was why he was different. A soft wind ruffled Dakota's pelt which made him seem aggressive though in reality everyone knew he wasn't. No doubt his father would say that Dakota was too kind to his members. The brute quickly looked over to the only female within his pack to see what she was doing.

Kaya just watched as the two greeted eachother, her worries passed. She smiled and nodded to Lobo, greeting him, even though he hadn't seemed to notice her. Her tail wagged as she grinned, deciding she still wanted to play.

Without warning she tackled Lobo, then pranced off, inviting him to give chase. She giggled softly, her bushy tail wagging. "Can't catch me!" she declared in a lilting voice. She pranced in a circle, then dashed off, going through a stteam and hiding in some bushes.

The brute yelped in shock at the tackle, his eyes burning faintly. He shook himself quickly, tail swaying in deep thought. Was this chase really worh it? He thought dully to himself shaking the dust of his grey fur. Mustard eyes were still in thought as he sat there, letting himself just relax, finally his choice was made, even if it took a while.

He stood up quickly and with his tail swaying he shot after the fea, he needed to get her back after all. His paws seemed tp never touch the ground, it was if he was flying, flying through the sunny day. His head soon creapt up, it was as if he had no control over it, none what-so-ever. With his head high up, and his maw tilted to the sky he howled. Long and eerie he wagged his tail and dropped his head back to it's orginal postion, all this while still running a sign he could mult-task.
