About my cat
My cat is a Korat. It is totally grey. The Korat is a breed from Thailand. It was discovered in 1959 by an American man who took a couple to the States but the breed was officially recognised only in 1967. It took even 8 years more to be recognised in Europe.

The Korat is a pure breed and has never been crossed. It is totally forbidden to do so. It is said that the Siamese would come from the Korat. There is only one color : grey.

In Thailand, it is a tradition to offer a couple of these cats to newly married people because they are supposed to bring good luck.
