Adding an Avatar
Okay, I give ... I thought I knew how to do this, but how do you add an avatar to your posts? Based on my last post, I clearly did it wrong!! Thanks!!
when you go to the main page of the community, click on my control center - then go into edit profile - put the the link to your avatar in the first space
Wheeee!! It worked!! Thanks!! ... probably not my last appeal for help. I'm a relative Internet novice (just on-line since March), and I don't have much experience with computers generally ... any help is greatly appreciated! I'm learning lots just through the process of posting to these boards!!

Don't feel bad, Jeanine. I've been online for years now, but haven't posted on Ezboards very often and it took me awhile to learn how to post avatars here, too. The term "personal photo" was especially confusing to me: I wasn't sure whether that meant I could use any avatar photo I wanted or did it have to be a photo of myself. Needless to say I was relieved to find out I could use a photo of my two favorite skaters instead.

I kinda wondered if it meant a personal photo as well. Thank goodness it didn't ... if I had to put mine up I might scare new members away from the site!!!
