Ammo Bags
TAPCO has the M-44 style leather ammo bags that fit a belt and hold 4 to 5 stripper clips each. I bought 4@ $3 apiece,...was very pleased with what I got. All were in great shape and cleaned up well with saddle soap, and then buffed out with brown shoe polish.

2 were marked 1950 Romanian. 1 was a little larger, it held 4 strippers and the metal oil can. These 2 are a perfect match in color to the 91/30's dog collar sling.

Neat little additions to say the least!

Re: Ammo Bags
Sounds great Rebel. I picked up one and I think I might have two more coming in.

No I don't own a Mosin but then again that's never stopped me from collecting different things.

Re: Ammo Bags
Question for you guys, would anyone know where it would be possible to buy a tool that would fit the crossbolt nut?

Re: Ammo Bags
Is it possible that an SKS cross bolt tool would work ? I seem to remember that TAPCO had SKS cross bolt tools at one time.

If I remember, I'll get my SKS and one of my MN's out tomorrow and try to compare them

Re: Ammo Bags
I ordered a several of the ammo pouches... nifty little things. One of the neat things about them was the newspaper that was stuffed inside. Looked to be Romanian. Showed it to my kids at school, they loved it.
