Anthony Sanzone
I think you should cave into the huge popularity of former player Anthony "I'm in the "Sanzone.
Anthony is on the borderline of having celebrity status in the ever expanding world of wiffleball. Rumor has it, he showed up on gameday in a limo. He rolled out with a taped wiffleball bat in one hand while smoking one of his Newport Light cigarettes inn the other. Now that's class!
You should have Dr. Rapp do a huge profile on him, with lots of pictures for his adoring pre-teen fans across America. Maybe Dr. Rapp can go over every pitch ever thrown to Anthony Sanzone (all 37 of them.)
Skyla should also do a Boy review on him. I'm sure he'll be the first hunk to crack the three digit barrier in the Do-Able Scale.
Also, I believe it is a crying shame that there isn't an award named after this great icon. Starting next season, there should be an Anthony Sanzone Award for...the possibilities are endless.
To let another week go by without the League paying homage to this great man, who showed us that smoking while playing wiffleball does indeed promote weak groundballs to the pitcher, would serve as a tremendous injustice to the game of wiffleball.

Who the heck is this guy Anthony? Whats the big deal about him? Is he that much of a legend?
Memories
I remember a gameday back in the early part of 2002...the Horsemen were waiting at The Sac for the Road Warriors to show up after their double-dip at The Byrd House. We were all waiting inside, and eventually Darnell showed up with cousin Jeff Register in tow. They came inside while we figured out lineups and such.
We asked if Anthony had shown up, and Darnell said he had, and that he should be arriving any second. We waited inside for a few more minutes before I finally relented and said "let's go get ready now."
It was then I saw Anthony laying on the front lawn with a cigarette in his mouth...just chillin'. We're still not sure how long he was hanging out there, but I knew right then that his days in the league were numbered.
I'm not sure if that was his last game...but I wouldn't be suprised.
So Mr. McCrevis...I hope that suffices as an "homage."
