I can't believe she called herself the "Sid Vicious of our times"... hello? Sid Vicious was a bass player...
And wrote punk for our times? She helped destroy it with this pop-punk ****. And "Sk8r Boi" is more bubble gum pop than Britney Spears could even dish out...

Well, I must admit to liking "complicated" and about 3 other songs, but I had heard some things about her that made me go hmmm, and now seeing these quotes, lol ya sounds like a bitch, and someone trying way to hard to look a certain way.
It IS pop music, lol sorry (Avril) but it is.... (IMO)
I know, I know, "ew she likes some Avril songs" Well! Lyrics are what really make it for me, when is has a bitchin guitar riff or some screaming and great lyrics, I'm all over it!! But there are a couple bands/songs not in the metal/rock/alternative blabhblah genre, cause I like the lyrics and the music doesn't totally suck!
Plus I AM a chick who likes Nirvana, System of a Down, Slipknot, NIN, AIC, Metallica ect... so give me some credit!!!!

Avril hometown is about 30 minutes from me. She was quoted in a magazine slamming her town. "There is nothing to do there but drop out of school and smoke dope" Lets just say that didn't go over well with her hometown, but she is right nothing to do there.
