Some stuff we have to put up with- Can’t bluff our way out, or pass it off. Dear Lord, this is my prayer I am down on bended knee When all is said and done, Let there be a better me. There are some tasks we really have to work at- It’s doesn’t come easy, can’t breeze right through it. Some hurts we just have to suffer- Can’t smile about it, or brush ‘em off. But Dear Lord, my constant prayer As I sit watching Kendall leave Is that when all is said and done, There will be a better me.
