Where do I start?

I've been heavily influenced by many manners of expression, but I'd like to state that I'm not a 'suggestible' person, I make my own mind up, usually.... but....

I'll start with a confession. As a youngster, I was terrified of being dull. It really did seem my destiny, I was already wearing a suit at like 13, and I got my homework in on time, and my idea of 'rebelling' was reading books after 'lights out' time. Grr, total repression city.

In my books, and later, in the films, I found characters who weren't afraid to confront their situation and say <B>"fuck yeah, this sucks, but I'm OK"</B>. It soon dawned on me that I didn't have half the balls of the characters I admired. And you no what? Once I started admiring fictional characters, I found myself admiring my friends for their strengths, and still I found myself lacking.

So I started living more of the life I wanted, rather than the one I was given of the rack. I designed my own experiences, and those expereinces were based on books and film.
