Brakes squeeking
I recently put my mags on for the Summer time, but ever since I did, my brakes keep sqweeking!

The guys at the garage told me it was because, since my wheels are bigger (16-inch instead of 14-inch), they get much hotter when I come to a stop. This causes my breaks to sqweek!

The also said it might be some rust in the brake pads and that the noise would go away in a few weeks...but I don't believe it :-p I think somethin' is wrong and I want to know how I could fix this weird noise.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

Thanx!

the mecanick is not wrong.....
what he is telling you is the truth. Since 16 inch wheel will get more inertia(la force d'inertie in french) when a stop is needed brakes will have to work harder for a same stop.
And the rust thing is also truth.
I'm not sure I think Canadian tire sells some special stuff to make brakes stop sqweeking
