Description: An african american woman of true allurement, Carmen is the true epitome of everything that is immaculate in her style and manner. It's something that has always been carried through with her, extending even back to the days when she found herself as nothing more than a strong, black woman, trying to make a living for herself and habitually strolling into a fast food place just to make a living for her son and herself. It's no secret that she is one of the most trendy, and fashionably noticeable women to ever walk the face of the earth, and it's not beyond her to let someone know that. Throughout her twenty five years of living, she's appeared on the scene with a number of dynamic garb with all the right adornments that have come along with it. From silk to lace, velvet to fur, satin to suade, it's all adorned her curvacious body at least once, making her stand out as an equal to even the wealthiest of Jones City.
With a normal height of 5'4", she weighs at about 115 lbs. Full features is what Carmen is all about. Her nose is petite and angular, as is her strong chin. Her lips are as full as the curves that rock certain parts of her body, mainly so her hips. Her features are clearly defined by her african american heritage, everything about her falling into place almost perfectly. Is it the way that she flaunts her dark brown hair that spills along her shoulders and back in a mass of straighteness? Undecided to the public eye if it's a hair weave, or her real hair? Or perhaps it is those honey brown eyes that adds to her building charm and beauty. Moreso known for uniqueness? One never really knows, but it's obvious that her hair and eyes is what stands out about her the most. A stark contrast to her nicely dark, mocha colored flesh. The color of coffee with cream.
Her body is desgined and structured like that of a curvacious harlot. She's honed to perfect proportion, every curve, every muscle caught within it's right position, constructed of the womanly build of one who engages in intensive, regular exercise. Something she's worked on nearly all of her life, as a requirement of herself to not become lazy as most women do after giving birth to a child. Carmen is the perfect fit for any piece of garment. Whether it is a bra, and panties, to dresses and pants, clothing is never a problem with her. For in the end it is her that makes the clothing look better. She's the person that could walk down the street, and make all the teenage girls wish they had the outfit she has on, unaware that without her build it won't look the same. This african american female contains every aspect there is to physically mesmorize and hypnotize a man, but judging by the content of her character, looks just happen to be something that could truly be deceiving.
Personality: Real. Independant. Carefree. Nubian Goddess. That's what many see when people actually get to glimpse into the life of Carmen Barrett and see what she is really like. Throughout her entire life she's searched for a purpose, never succeeding in finding one. She's been alone and on her own and that's how she tended to like it. Though when a girl grows up in the Projects. The Ghetto. The shitiest part of a city, they have to toughen up and that's exactly what she did. There was no room for a simple minded female that couldn't hold her own. And it was that notion that shaped her into the woman that she is to this day. Head strong in nature, and without a doubt as ghetto and as classy as a woman can come. It's as if she has two different personas. For she can turn her professional demeanor and her 'project girl' demeanor on and off like a light switch at her beck and call.
Carmen's attitude is complete fire. Hot to the core, and if you come at her wrong beware of the flames that will snap, crackle, and pop. This often times shows itself when she's on stage doing a number at Dee's. Carmen believes in telling it like it is, and that's all there is to it. In the past it has lost her jobs, relationships, and friendships. There's definately no p*ssyfooting around a subject when she's around, especially if she's the topic. Through it all, her down home personality shines like a golden light above her head. It doesn't matter that she's a mother at all. One would think that when Cece, her six year old daughter, was born that she would've calmed her demeanor down. But it only increased, especially since she's raised her for six years by herself. Her father being a good for nothing father that she despises like she does those johns that often hit at her around the ball.
When it comes to her daughter, she mothers him as any mother does and Carmen's own mother often helps with that. Like any parent, she tries to give her the best in life, and tries to mold her to be the best that she can be when it comes to this hard life of Jones City. It's never easy bringing a child into the world in such a place like this, but she tries to keep her free of all the sin that the world has to offer. A life seperate from what she had to go through is what she goes for. Disobedience from Carmen's little girl is not an option, and she is firm believer in corporeal punishment. The love that she has for her dear daughter, the only other perosn in her life besides her mother, is strong. A mothers wraith is unbearably strong when brought down with the force that she can bring it down with and she tends to make sure that she keeps a watchful eye on Ceceilia. Cece, being one of the only people she has left in her life that's worth fighting for. Carmen has an uncanny knack for cooking, as well. It coming as a surprise to many that get to know her. She was taught to cook by her grandmother before she passed, and it comes only natural for her. Every chance she gets she tries to cook, even if it's just her and her son.
