Changes are coming.
Currently this "Fishing Page" is running in the background of my main business webpage, but now that I'm starting up a side business (Ledge Runner Baits) I may be moving things. I'm considering a separate domain name and webpage for the bait business, so if that happens the message board, slow as it's been, will move there. Here are some pictures of the baits I will be offering. Starting at the top, you have the 4-6-9 inch sluggo type, then the 4-6 inch fluke type, the 4-6 inch curly tail grubs, then my personal favorite 4.5-5.5-7 inch split tail and the 4-5-6 inch shad swimming tail style.

Clearer pictures, along with colors, scents (no Menhaden Fish Oil...lol), sizes etc, along with some updated and newer articles on the proper rigging and presentation. Most of these baits are striper baits, however a large percentage, especially in the smaller sizes, are great freshwater baits. Especially for largemouth, smallmouth, pickeral and any gamefish that preys on baitfish.....the prevalent profile of these baits.

Damn!
....and to think someday I'll be able to say I knew the boy before he was famous! Just taking a shot in the dark, I decided to check to see if your board was still comatose, and lo and behold.

Seriously, this is such a natural it can't miss. I've long thought that it was a damn shame you hadn't found some way to make part of your livelihood out of something fishing related since its clearly something you're gifted at. Hell if this really takes of, maybe some higher end rodbuilding or guiding may round out a pastime and side venture into a sustainable source of decent income. If nothing else, it may help keep that pig of an outboard of yours in the water. :lol

The new baits look great. You just gotta find a way of letting the word get out that 1 bait in 2 sizes and 1 or 2 colors are really all they will ever need to catch stripers. Course if you're looking for new ideas, I've got this idea for a bic pen shape, super salty do nothing piece of very soft plastic that may just work. If the freshwater side of the business heats up, a Brewer style grub is a natch too.

Break a leg.

Re: Damn!
Drew, email me your address and I will send you a sample package. That little 4 inch swim bait will probably do great in situations you would throw a brewer grub. Yeah, I know salty pen shaped "S" word inserted here, not going there. Actually every one of these smaller baits, up threw the 6 inch sizes are proven large and small mouth killers. Pickeral and pike eat them like candy also. Funny a while back I was about to put a spike in the message boards heart :) . I've been toying with offering the baits commercially for years, I just never felt I had the time. Since I'm educating my middle son in the process, I'll have some cheep child labor...lol. Actually, I'm offering him 30% of the action to give him some incentive to get his you know what together.

Appreciate it, bud. If you have figured out your pricing, post something or send along a price list with the sample. I'd like to get on board with a nice order ASAP. No time like the present to see if the boy has any future as a baitmaker! Besides, I have a pretty good idea what those babies can do.

Bob:

Your care package arrived on Saturday, and everything looks great. Thanks again, bud. When do you think you will be up and running and taking orders?

Re: the baits arrived
My efforts will be towards getting enough plastic poured to sell at the Mass Striped Bass Assoc. show at Cordage Park in Plymouth Mass the end of March. After that I will be updating the web page, posting better pictures, colors, scents (no Menhaden Fish Oil) and pricing.
