Character Rules
You may play as many characters as you like, but please do not apply with more than one character at once, and use good judgement: if you don't think you can play more than one character, then don't apply with one.
Characters are to come from the Tortall books by Tamora Pierce. Please do not apply with characters from anywhere else, including Emelan. This means to modern characters, or characters that have anything modern to do with them.
Character's names and positions should be Tortallan. Any uncommon name recognizable from another book, movie, or game will not be allowed. (Harry, as it is a common name, would be accepted, Harry Potter would not.)
Players who are not active for more than a month without telling the staff will be deleted from the game. Original characters will be deleted- if you return to the game, you may re-apply for them. Canon characters will be put up for adoption and may be taken over by someone else.
If you wish to make any significant changes to your character that would not obviously occur in the storyline, please ask the staff first. If we see these changes, we will tell you to edit them or to put them into your character's bio.
Young ladies at the convent with any kind of fighting ability are no longer allowed. If you see some reason that you, over every other applicant, should be allowed to make an exception for this rule, please contact the administrators and they will put you to rights.
