Table:

The weather was cool, dead leaves carwheeling by while she placed their young son in the carseat. The seasons seemed to come and go so quickly before her eyes. One would go to sleep one day and seemingly wake up to a whole other season the next. But most of it was Sonya just being comfortable where she was for once. Happiness never lasted this long for her. There as always some sort of deamon looming over her shoulder, waiting to rip and tear at her life. It never failed. But so far things had been going rather smoothly. Remus and her finally found their relationship moving back on track to where it had been before the pregnancy. Finally there was no stress as to whether Ramses would be born unharmed since he was obviously just fine, those big blue eyes staring at her with wonder and amazment. It was so hard not lose herself in their bright splendor. They were her eyes, something that would always remind him of her as he grew older. All he would have to do was look in a mirror and see her there or at least some version of her. Meanwhile he could already ell he would bee the spitting image of his father. No doubt hae his personality as well... maybe with a bit of her traits mixed in as well. Thinking of him growing older was something that felt so odd, so foreign. She just wasn't ready for him to grow. She still had to make peace with the fact that Apollo was a growing young boy and could allready speak ful sentances, something she never thought would come. Slowly but surely he would lose the need to have her near himm as much. But till then he would reamin a momma's boy, she told herself. It was something that made her smile to think about. How much he still needed her now, if only for the comforting fact of knowing she was close.

The tourists were so wuick to enter the zoo. Nearly stumbling over themselves to get inside, as if the animals were running away as they walked. Families like small troops seemed to swarm around the three, moving every which way. Meanwhile they did the direct opposite, slowly moing out of the zoo grounds and into the parking lot. While she leant into the car to put Ramses securely in his seat she couldn't help but think on how they'd spent one anniversary just making love in the backseat. It was how Ramses came to be really. Someting sh never forgot. BUt since them the parkinglot always reminded her of that time, something she didn't think she'd ever forget. Leaning forward after making that quick remark to Remus about making him feel better later she felt his hand grab her rear and flinched slightly, giving a bit of a laugh in the process. Ramses was of course too young to really see how crazy his parents really were. Pulling out from the back sear Sonya pinched Remus's backside, being rather quick about it, still smiling. Before he could say anything, that is if he even thought to she moved arond the drvers side of the car. Sonya rather liked driving, she figured there was something empowering about it. Well perhaps not really empowering but simply independant. Nowadays she didn't have to show Remus how independant ot strong willed she could be. By now, almost two years of mateship, he knew that now. But old habits died hard. She didn't figure he'd put up a fuss about her driving since it wasn't as if it was something thy'd normally fuss over, and after the promise of something sexual later on he'd probably let her do whatever she pleased.

Looking at him atop the hood of the car she smiled, feeling for the door handle while doing so. She slid into the front seat rather effortlessly, glancing at the rear view mirror immediatly after, seeing Ramses looking about. He was safely tucked in his car seat, strapped in by a million different straps and buckles she made sure were all secure. It was a good thing she'd only brouht Ramses since if she were to bring all the children it would take her all evening just to make sure they were all buckled in. When it came to their safety in ht e car Sonya could be a bit... 'careful'. Afer all a car accident was the only danger she felt powerless against. Pulling the keys from her pocked she looked to the passenger seat where Remus would slid in. She enjoyed picking him up from work. He smelled of nothing but pure wolf to her, wild and untamed. By just being arond him she cold already picture him darting through the forest as a black wolf in her mind. Not to mention the scent was a slight turn on. As was catching him in his uniform. It had of course been the first thing she'd seen him in when she saw him at the zoo, in the rain. The turn on could also come from sentimental feelings such as that. Though their meeting was anything but pleasant at that point. It had been one of her first tries at making contact with the canines and upon seeing her she felt Remus would rather have eaten her face off. IT was something she laughed at now but then proved to her that the road to being alies would be a long one. It certainly had been, but in the end they'd done it. "You smell nice." Sonya said nochalantly while she pushed the keys into the ignition and listened to the engine pur. In no rush she didn't bother putting itin drive just yet.
