Circle of Lies (From The Lying King)
From the day I arrived on the planet
And blinking, stepped into the sun
There's more pointing than can ever be seen
More blinking than can ever be done
Some say leave, but I won’t be leavin’
‘Cause I know…you’d miss me on TV
It’s all Zach’s fault, that what I’ve been preachin’
On AMC that’s what McT writes for me
It’s a circle of lies
It's the wheel of torture
It's McT’s twisted way
We need a ZEN of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle, the circle of lies
Some of us drive off a cliffside
And some of us raise of our fists to our wife
And some of us are written as heroes
And some have to choke down these lies
There's far too much garbage to take in here
More inconsistencies than can ever be found
But the finger pointing high through the spittle and the lies
Is why there’s only still a handful around
It’s a circle of lies
