Dark Illusions (GOLD)

Nothing is ever as it seems in the wizarding world. Everything is a dark illusion, clouded by things many think that corrupt the minds of man. Money and power are always something that changes the perspectives of a man. Friends quickly become enemies, enemies quickly become friends. Fear, often the cause of the more drastic changes, can sometimes change some of for the better, though not always. To some, this is all an illusion. To others, it is something dark, and to many it is just a dark illusion.

With Minerva McGonagall as the newly instated Headmistress of Hogwarts, the wizarding school is once again opened to the public. Teaching positions have been filled with hopeful new faces for the positions of Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Potions. This also means that there are two new Head of Houses. However, because of the attack, and death of Albus Dumbledore the previous year, many parents have decided to pull their children from school.

With the Order of the Phoenix behind him, pushing him, Harry Potter has returned to school along with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. As the Trio enter their seventh and final year at Hogwarts, things are happening all around them. While the students attempt at getting along with each other, many rebel against one another; forming sides that were never there before within the castle of Hogwarts.

Outside of the walls of Hogwarts and the streets of Hogsmeade, Lord Voldemorts forces are growing as he continues to build his army. Dementors, hippogriffs, giants, vampires, trolls, goblins, and many more are already lined up by his side, as well as his loyal Death Eaters. Still, he feels it’s not enough, and continues to send out his Death Eaters to bring more creatures to their side. Pureblood families have also begun to join Voldemort and his growing army. Many Muggles have been reported as missing or found dead in their homes.

Between homework, newly founded rivalries, and the overall struggle of Hogwarts now overly protected, Harry, Ron, and Hermione still find time to search for the remaining Horcrux’s, and their long gone old Potions Master. The dark illusion, the fear that Hogwarts will again be attacked is still fresh in everyone’s mind even with the forces of the Order of the Phoenix grow stronger with each passing day.

Everyone is involved whether they like it or not.


Dark Illusions is a friendly board with little to no restrictions. Beginners, intermediate and seasoned veterans are all welcome. Your imagination is free to flow into whatever you want here. Nearly all book characters are open and you have the power to go wherever you want with them. We're here to make friendships and have fun. We're in dire need of a Ron Weasley, Severus Snape and Remus Lupin . Other characters wanted are Bellatrix Lestrange, Neville Longbottom, Pansy Parkinson, any of the Weasley clan, Nymphadora Tonks, and Rufus Scrimgeour.

If you had previously thought about joining and noticed there was no joining forum, it was because one of the Admins had accidently made the forum invisible. It's fixed now, so anyone and everyone can join!
