Athens, the first new civilization and by far the most advanced, is a gilded prison for its citizens. A corrupt and depraved Government ruled by a fiendish monarch has turned what was once an unblemished paradise into a veritable nightmare. In these, the most arduous times the world has seen since the third World War, there is but a single method of escape: sleep. All the worries of a broken past melt away once the eyes close and the breathing slows. In fact, one Athenian felt so emphatically about it, that he designed a device to ensure that not a single night’s sleep would be lost to nightmares of the real world. What he didn’t realize was that this Dreamscape device could, with the help of Magic not known to our world, lock-in to a mystical land of a separate realm. Now, those rare and fortunate few that have been chosen by this… Magic… can break away from this life and experience the mystery and magic of Aspera. For them, every single night has become a Dream Quest. After many hours of planning and preparation, my dream has finally come to light. Dream Quest is an original concept RPG based on all the things that I love about the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. Together with as many talented writers as I can gather together, I hope to see hundreds of stories come to life in these worlds of my design.
