Godspeed You Black Emperor! Their music is mainly very ambient, no words. (Technically I believe they are defined as instrumental). I find it soothing. And it helps me to listen to it while studying. Because most music I find distracting when trying to learn intense material. It's beautiful in every way. Especially the songs from their CD "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven". Re: Godspeed You Black Emperor! What? No link? Was it edited out? Garrrrrrgh. For instrumental stuff I have been enjoying Tim Story's Shadowplay and Keiko Matsui's The Ring, and the music described sounds like it would fit in...? |

Re: Godspeed You Black Emperor! I will look into this band... and dl some of their stuff. I listen to a lot of Ozric Tentacles, instrumental "space" type rock... way out there, and way deep. |
