Hogwarts Our Way
Of pro-Slytherin shrimps,
And lady-killing pimps,
Of face-stuffing, neck-burning habits,
Of House Elves and ghosts,
And bacon on toast,
Of pigs and poodles and WABBITS!!
Where Gryffindors are brave,
And Ravenclaws are brave,
And Slytherins are brave and kind,
Where Hufflepuffs are cool,
And NO ONE'S a fool,
No, I'm not (entirely) out of my mind.
Where leather is worn,
And oatmeal is thrown,
And everyone supports SPOW,
Then worry not, friend!
It's no crazy trend,
It's a perfectly sane place called HOW!!
Hogwarts Our Way is a democratic RPG - which is a polite way of saying that no one knows what's really going on. It is run by a group of Student Advisors, set in the year 2006 (but with no proper time value). Things here run themselves, mostly, and the Student Advisors only bump things along, when occasionally they get quieter. The idea is to let one's imagination loose, and then run for cover.
However, lately, the democratic, student-run school has come under the control of a newly appointed Headmaster, who (shock and horror) does not let everyone do what they want to. Things are going to get a little bumpy, with Eric Gossett, who gives off the impression of having a stick lodged securely in the wrong place, trying to enforce rules and regulations on people who've never really heard of them.
So come along, and fight this Evil Deliverer of Order. Get sorted, enjoy long, annoying coversations with a colourful variety of people, take part in occasional the school events, and have fun (whether you like it or not). We're currently looking for Professors for numerous subjects (and if you want to teach an unknown class, you'll be considered), for students, wabbits, bats, incestuous amoebae...
