I have always liked the theme they play at the
end of Inuyasha in the American release--I assume since it is in Japanese it was also in the original. I sort of wish I could collect some of the beginning or end themes of particular animes, or find out if they represent a particular style of music in Japan.

Re: I have always liked the theme they play at the
Ahh nuts. OK, so the song is called Fukai Mori, and I found a link. Great. But it only opens in media player--it must have been downloaded as some kind of temp file but I cannot find it. You cannot directly download it either, just click the link and it will work on media player. I have no idea how to do digital music. I don't want to get into piracy, but this is just silly. I tried to go to an anime music site that sells anime music, but I can't find it. Arghh, I want to be able to put it on a cd, darnit, or buy one, either way.

Oh well, so the link if you want to hear it is:

inuyasha.nu/downloads/mp3/fukai_mori.mp3

I like it in Japanese and shudder at an English rendition which I have learned exists--I like it even more knowing what the words mean though as I listen to it in Japanese.

Lyrics in English (see them side by side with the Japanese lyrics-- www.lava.net/~raistlin/da...imori.html ):

Fukai Mori (The Deep Forest)

Even now, in the depths of the deep, deep forest
An abandoned heart remains in hiding
So tired out that they haven't the strength to search
The people disappear into the eternal darkness

When I was still little, I'm sure
I would have been able to see it

The more we live
The more we lose, little by little
Clad in our deceptions and lies
We stand petrified, noiselessly

Without even realizing the color of the blue, blue sky
The days passing by keep on changing
Surpassing artificial outlines, living for today
A chained-up heart again starts in motion

If I just knew the rhythm of time
I'm sure I could fly again

As we continue to wander
We keep on living, everywhere we go
Looking for a light that we can believe in
I'll start walking, with you now

The more we live
The more we lose, little by little
Clad in our deceptions and lies
We stand petrified, noiselessly

As we continue to wander
We keep on living, everywhere we go
Blocking off the road to return
I'll continue walking, eternally

We stand petrified, noiselessly
We continue to live, eternally

download time
Well, if you don't have broadband, it may well be painful to recieve it as an email, so I'll just remind you that you can do it yourself I'm thinking.

Here's how I did it.

I clicked on your link, and allowed it to oepn in Media Player or Winamp or whatever.

I let it play through, to ensure it was the full file.

I closed Media Player.

I opened up the Search Function of Windows (Start >> Search or Find)

I searched for <B>fukai</B> on my C: Drive

once found, I grabbed it from the search results and dragged it to my desktop.

Hey Presto it's an MP3 file, I can now do with it as I wish, mwuh haha haha haha mu mu mway hahahah *cough

Re: download time
I tried that previously but it kept saying "no matching file found." That's why I was wondering in my first post what it had been renamed as as a temp file.

I tried it as

fukai

fukai.*

*fukai*

*fukai*.*

File not found. :|
