A heavy frost has descended on the castle, looking more like snow has fallen than anything. Yet by midmorning, the frost has melted off leaving quite a muddy trek for anyone heading down to CoMC. The wind is dreadfully chilly so don't forget your house scarf if you're heading out anywhere farther than the castle. Even the lake is beginning to show tinges that winter is rapidly approaching.

Present Day 1997; Sirius and Bellatrix Black are now in the future.
From the beginning, Dumbledore had suspected something. Sirius acted not out of instinct but with precise movements as if he had something to do and was doing all he could to do it. From what the old man remembered, this was not the way the seventeen year old Sirius Black acted. So, he treated the boy like he trusted him and kept him close keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. All the signs led towards the Imperius, but with the boy being from the past, it was just as easy the caster was also from the past and therefore almost impossible to track. The Headmaster thought that he and the Order would be able to sufficiently keep everything under control until Harry Potter disappeared. Immediately, Dumbledore ordered two of his Order members to go to the location that was determined Sirius had arrived in. But like Sirius had his mission with the Order, Bellatrix had hers with the current Death Eaters. She was to inform one of them that they would soon be getting their wishes granted, whether they knew it or not. Voldemort was curious though and therefore dispatched two of his own Death Eaters to follow Bellatrix back to the Warehouse. Bellatrix could not escape quickly enough, but neither were the Order Members nor the Death Eaters quick enough to stop her from turning the dial on the time-turner, resulting in all of them being sent to the past. To 1977.
Past 1978; Sirius has just returned to the castle.
The death of popular Apryl Barron was a big enough tragedy to the student body, but when it was determined that Sirius Black was in fact missing, everything was in mayhem. Though the students could easily feel the tension and fear in the air, it was only the Order and staff that new the true severity of the situation. The situation only worsened with the arrival of Sirius Black completely unharmed. He claimed to have very little recollection of what had happened when he was away and began to assemble together what he did remember. He knew that the Death Eaters were obviously behind everything and that their plot involved something to do with a powerful boy. What was surprising though was that he also seemed to have a memory of chaos between the Death Eaters when their captive, the powerful boy, had escaped. Immediately, the Order grouped together and did all they could to find this boy.
Meanwhile, in the Ministry, another student of Hogwarts has added to the ever-increasing level of danger in the Wizarding World. The duel of Term 1 had been completed, but with one astonishing revelation: the duel between Isabelle Owens and Lily Evans had ended simply because Owens, a Seventh Year Slytherin, had dared to cast Crucio on Evans, breaking one of the rules and disqualifying herself. The papers assumed that Isabelle did this to get back at Lily for beating her in the first round, but many others assume that the girl was a Death Eater, making her first move. (To find out the results of the duel, go here.) Owens now faces a trial and the decision of whether or not she will be treated as an adult or as a minor. The difference could mean Azkaban for punishment, or Azkaban for life.
