Introducing Pitoune !
Here are some pictures of Pitoune ("Peetoon" for the English pronouncing), our little devil :

Here she is on my lap

Pitoune taking a great nap on the sofa. The flash wasn't working well that day and Pitoune appears brownish when she is grey.

Guess who ?

Pitoune resting on "her" armchair while we were on vacation at Miami Beach

We had found it funny to give Pitoune the look of an old grandma but apparently, she didn't seem to agree with us.

We took this picture specially to show that Pitoune is so small (she weights 4 pounds) that she can fit in a bowl.

Twisting and turning

Do I take pictures of you when you're in bed ?!

Here comes Green Eyes

Big sleep !

:) Glad to know that, thanks.

I will try to take more pictures of her later. I had a film developed but I guess it was too old : it must have stayed too long in the camera and all the photos came out sort of pinkish. Not pretty at all !! :o

It's a shame because most of the film contained photos of Pitoune. It was a "special Pitoune film" :\

No, she's a Korat, a breed from Thailand. It is said that the Siamese would come from the Korat. Don't know if that's true. Anyway, these cats are supposed to bring good luck in Thailand and it is a tradition to offer a couple to newly married people.

They were discovered in 1959 by the Americans and taken to the USA. Therefore, the breed was only officially recognised in 1967.

As for Pitoune herself, she is 8 years old.
