Kendall Begins

My friends assure me it’s Zendall or nothing
I am not worried- I am not overly concerned
My friends implore me for one time only,
Make an exception. I am not not worried
Wrap her up in a package of lies
Send her off to a Divorce Island

With the status of her emotions
Oh, she says, Ryass is changing.
But he’s always changing
It does not bother me to say this isn’t love
Because if you don’t want to talk about it then it isn’t love
And a Rendall fan is going to have to live that
But, I’m sure there’s something getting in the way
Or something in between
And I can always change my channel if that’s what you mean

This time when his sadness falls like rain
It washes her away and Kendall begins to change her mind
These eppys when I’m watching leave me shuddering
For the day she says

It seems like I should say as long as this is Zendall love...
But it’s not all that easy so maybe I should just
Snap her up in a dragonfly net-
Pin her down on a Divorce Island
I am not worried
We’ve done this sort of thing before
But then I start to think about the consequences
Because I don’t get no sleep in a Ryass room and...
The time when Zach’s sadness falls like rain
It washes us away and Kendall begins change her mind
And every time she sneezes we believe it’s love
And oh lord.... I’m not ready for this Rendull thing
She’s talking in her sleep-it's keeping us awake
And Kendall begins to toss and turn
And every word is about Zach and we understand it and

Her sadness bangs a gong
She’s moving in her dog and Kendall begins to see her mistake
It’s chasing Zach away. He dissappears, and oh Lord I’m not ready for this Rendull thing
