LVNV HELP!
I received a Summons & Complaint to which I answered a request for Validation - this was back in May of this year. Never heard a word, but have been trying to get it removed from my credit report. It was removed for one month then reappeared so I disputed it again.

Last night I received "Plaintiff's Interrogatories, Plaintiff's REquest for Production of Documents, and Request for Admissions" and it all appears to be "copies" as if they sent to the courts already - they want me to meet in their office on Dec. 6 - can anyone help, I don't understand any of it - Providian charged it off back in 2001 but the SOL is 6 years; and this account has bounced through about 6 different collection agencies.

Thanks for any help!

You say your SOL is 6 years but I bet the last time you paid on it was alot longer than that.

If it have been six year or older since you paid on it. I would go to their office and just tell them your are not paying it or write a cease & desist letter to quit trying to collect on an old debt.

Is this Ken hughes. if so I would write the letter because this group is own by him and Merchant credit guide is too. I just had to write a C &D letter twice to these bunch of low lifer.

If this is an old bill say 10 years old then write this letter.

He tried to collect 2 bills that I defaulted on in 1989 which my state SOL is 3 years so he is an idiot.

Thought I would let you know.
