MVP
What's up fellas I just wanted to say congrats to Scott for rightfully winning the MVP. I may have hit the championship clinching homerun off of him, but I will admit that if he hadn't pitched four games in a row, there probably would have been a different outcome. I will admit that I voted for Dave, thanks to being there and sacrificing his time for the sake of the team for a majority of the season. I also voted for him, because without him, our offense and team fared well below par to end the regular season. If I were to vote again, it would be for Scott, because we did win the championship without him. This was not easy, but it was evident that the Holy Whites needed Scott more in the Series at the Sac than we needed Dave. Dave is still the savior though and he's my boy. Who gave me a first place vote? Thanks

re:
Yo D,
You gots to know that I placed you number one for MVP. The reasoning behind:

When I think of MVP, I don't just think of 'best stats', I think of the person who got his team the farthest and I think of D. Uhland. Though the stats weren't as good, I think that his commitment and contribution to the Road Warriors not only took them to the championship (and winning), but really kept that team from dropping off the face of the earth. With two rookies and a player who will be in San Diego for quite a while, the Road Warriors could have been doomed from the start had the captain been anybody else. Darnell kept the Road Warriors a team from beginning till end.

Though I think Scott was extremely valuable to his team, he, 1)had his worst season from the mound ever and 2)didn't keep Tavis around very long. Should he have had Tavis on a collar from day one? No way, but Darnell's attitude was beyond what was expected out of a captain and (in my opinion) kept Pat and Curtis around...which is pretty damn valuable to me.

So to all the SC lovers out there (remember, he prefers his ladies on the rocks), I think he should be MVP, but Darnell should be as well...and since we could only vote for one, I went with my fellow road warrior.

Now if there was a Most Valuable Playa award as well as Most Valuable Player, things would be totally different.
