Memories Book for Kurt
Hi Everyone,
My Mom and I have been Kurt Browning fans for several years and we've decided to put together a memories book for him. (We miss him on tour here in the States!) We have so many wonderful Kurt memories but we know that you do too so that's why we're asking for your help. If you've ever met Kurt and have a story you'd like to share or you simply want to talk about a favorite performance we invite you to send us something for this book. (I love hearing Kurt stories from other people too) Just send us an e-mail at lvkurt2@yahoo.com and put Kurt's book in the subject line and we'll include you in our book. Please remember to include your name and the city in which you live. We hope to have enough to fill this book by April 10th. Thanks so much for your help!
Re: Memories Book for Kurt
I'll try to send something, too...even though it might take me a little longer to write my entry since I don't have a personal Kurt encounter to share. I'll definitely do my best, though!
I'm not sure if you're subscribed to the Kurt Files mailing list, LVKurt2, but I think it would be a good idea to post about the book there, too. There are quite a few people on that list who don't post here or on the Biography Channel board, but I'm sure at least some of them would like to contribute anyway.
I also posted another idea over on the Biography Channel board...but whether or not you decide to use it, I'm sure your book will be wonderful. ITA it's a great idea!

Thanks jcspkbfan! I had actually written to Tina at the Kurt Files asking if she could put something up on the site for me. I'm heading over to the biography channel site to read your idea. Thanks again!

Re: Memories Book for Kurt
jcspkbfan, I just read your suggestion and I like your idea. I had set up a special e-mail just in case some people were too shy to post their stories and I didn't want them to have to post their name and city in a public forum. I wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to feel comfortable about contributing. I also have posted on several boards so it just made it more convenient to have all the stories come to one location. I do encourage people to share stories on this board as well as the biography channel board though. I would never leave out Kurt fans who've never had the chance to meet him because afterall there was a time when I too was a Kurt fan who had never met him. It's been almost eight years since I first met him in Albany, NY (my first ever Kurt hug) and I truly wish all of his fans could have an opportunity to meet him because he is such an incredible person. I look forward to reading your story. I'm sure it will make Kurt smile.

I've never met Kurt either but I'll definitely have something to contribute. I'll put that on my "to do" list .... though it won't be right away ... you wouldn't believe what upheaval my life is in right now. Finding time for fun (otherwise known as posting to message boards) has been quite a challenge of late!!
