My first race!
Back when I first bought my Z I was rollin' along the highway at about 100 km/h. I was takin' it easy, listening to music and not worrying about anything.
I was in the second lane and decided to pass in the third lane cuz the guy in front was goin' too slow. As I passed into the third lane, the guy in back of me (92 Integra) was pissed off that I was only rollin' about 110 km/h. He pulled next to me and raised his arms in the air. I was a little pissed at him so I stepped on it a bit.
The next thing I know we are weaving out and in front of each other at 170 km/h. We did this for about 2 kms and then I sorta realized that I was going so fast so I took my foot off the gas, gave him the Italian salute and took the next exit.
Speed is fun, but I guess it's just not for me. It's packed with a helluvalot of adrenalin, but I'd rather stick to "cruisin'" speed so people can actually see my car :-)

Hey that was cool !
I dunno if it just because of the weather or what (computer glitch), but my car accelerates a whole lot faster than a few days ago....like, it's an automatic right (I know, I know) and usually it goes to 3000-3200 rpm on a normal shift...now I can take it up to 3500-3600 without much effort...and going from 60 to 120 is a breeze, it just flies up there !
I guess that the air is just the right temp today since it's warmer but damn, so much fun !!!
btw : nissan sentra xe 2001 (1.8 L) only needs 2800 RPM to run 140 km/h...and I drove that yesteday. (my mom's new car) it's amazing how little rpm it needs to go fast...like a Golf Diesel or something ! lol
my 1st race in my Z
well my 1st race was towards the end of august i had just bought my car (1997 Z24) i was crusing around with my friend on lacordaire (saint-leonard) and all of a sudden there is this escort with chrome mags and really loud music passes me and they waved at us. i remebered this guy cause he always drives around showing of his car. I wanted to race him but i was scared to loose (i hate loosing) cause his car has some mods. So i pressed on the gaz to catch up he saw me coming so he slowed down to catch the red light and next thing you know im right next to him. He starts reving his engin i didnt, my friend was like try it you have nothing to loose, so as soon as the light turned green he went, a fraction of a second after i decided to go for it, 1st gear i was with him as soon as i got it into second ZOOOOM BABY Z24 all the way i smocked him when i put it into third he was too far away the light after he didnt even look he turned right, i was very impressed that i beat him badly even though he got a head start. anyways ill let you guys know later about some other races i had with a civic si and a neon later

Hey Joey i know that you prefer to take it slow!!But you know sometimes it s good to make them see true power! So the guys who want to know if they have power bring yourselves against me and see what will happen!!
