My new Russian M-38 1943
:hat Sunday I can pickup my new Russian M-38 from Big 5 Sporting goods. Looks like it has not been fired since it was last redone. I can't see all the markings till I clean it up but it is marked on the barrel with a Russian mark and triangle and dated 1943. It is what I would call very good shape cause the metal is very clean with no visible wear and for 129.00. I just got into this but have owned a 1903 Springfield for years.

Cool ! M38's are nice, they have quite the muzzle blast with surplus ammo.
