NBC "Best of SOI" broadcast
Just a reminder NBC's "Best of SOI" broadcast happens today:

I don't know how much of the broadcast will be old footage and how much will be new, but either way, it looks like Kurt will be part of the broadcast after all! :rollin

Re: NBC "Best of SOI" broadcast
I couldn't believe that neither Kurt nor G&G were showcased in the 8 great skates. G&G had so many masterpiece programs and Kurt has been a fixture in both SOI (10 years) and CSOI (12 years, IIRC). Among his many memorable programs, surely they could have included one!!!

Re: NBC "Best of SOI" broadcast
It would have been better if fans could have voted for programs to be featured in the show. What we got instead was essentially what the PTB liked best from SOI, rather than what was actually best. I agreed with the selection of Paul's JFK, but not much else lol.

Where was "Nyah"? One of the best pro programs in history, by anyone, but not one of the best in SOI? Suuuure... :b :lol

Re: NBC "Best of SOI" broadcast
ITA there should have been a poll of some sort on the official SOI site where fans could vote for which programs they wanted to see on the NBC broadcast. >: Of course, the only problem with that is how hard it would be to narrow it down to only eight great skates! Hey, I found it impossible to decide between only eight great Kurt programs, let alone choose between all the other great SOI programs performed over the years! :rollin

I also agree it would have been nice to see a little less Scott and a little more of certain other skaters (coughkurtgandgcough!)
