One of my favorites
Over here in Finland is a popular band called Nightwish. I've seen them twice and they are just awesome. Their lead singer is a classically trained Opera Singer. Mixed with heavy metal it sounds pretty cool.
My brother is a huge fan too, unfortunately they don't tour the U.S, although they have toured Mexico and Canada.
Hmmm... perhaps one of the members is a distant relative of mine, as my Grandfather was finnish! Well, probably not - it's a big country. Do you know any "Backstroms"? - that's his surname.

lol I asked Markku (my husband) and he says that's a swedish last name. There are many swedish communities living in Finland though.
