Rane
I saw an amazing show tonight and I thought I'd share... The band Rane played 2 sets; the acoustic portion was backed by a string quartet. It was amazing! Their opener Stephen Kellog (sp?) was great as well. I've been following Rane for years but to all those who haven't seen them, check 'em out its a good show. Tonights show was recorded and will probably be on their web page www.ranetides.com Peace
rane are great, I agree. I've known Alan and crew since around '97 and they've always been a force to be reckoned with. I used to do a lot of graphic work for them, including the artwork/layout on their CD camelopardalis.

Wow Greg, that cd looks great! I didn't know you designed it, small world. How is it possible that I've known those guys since day one and never knew that? Things that make you go hmmm. Anyway, good job
Re: Rane
I just learned [via The Hartford Courant] that Drummer Travis LaMothe and percussionist Kurt Rinaldi are leaving rane. Whoa. That's pretty heavy news, as they've been with the band since day one, some 6 years ago. Best of luck to the band and to the drummer boys in their endeavors.
Re: Rane
Update on the drummer situation: Kurt has evidently rejoined the band, which is great news to me, as he's always been such an integral piece of their band. Also, a great drummer named Bruce Menard has joined the band. I hear he's gelling with them nicely.
