Reviewing Talent Needed!
Do you love reading romance novels, women's fiction and/or chick lit? Would you be thrilled to pieces to receive review copies of your favorite authors' work? I'm currently on the look-out for a handful of talented, articulate e-book reviewers to lend my reviewing website, Heartstrings, a helping hand.
Please note, this is a purely voluntary position, with the expectation that the electronic ARCs, etc., I provide you with will only be reviewed for Heartstrings. Naturally, you're free to review for other websites -- as long as you receive your reviewing material elsewhere. I expect exclusivity from my reviewers, in other words, when they are provided with review copies from Heartstrings.
Again, all reviewing material will be sent in electronic format. So it would be of benefit to you, I suppose, if you happen to own a Palm Pilot or some such device (for ease of reading). It can be very, very tedious to read text from a computer monitor, after all...Believe me, I know.
At any rate, if you think you have the "write" stuff, I'd love to hear from you! Be sure to include a sample review in the body of your e-mail. Generally, I'd expect a review to be anywhere from 300 to 800 words in length, and to be as fair-minded and unbiased as possible (balancing the pros with the cons, presenting an accurate depiction of the plot, etc). Ideally, you will be able to submit at least two reviews per week.
