Souffle's Wanders
A black-and-silver brujo sat in the shadows, his golden-silver hued eyes reflecting off the moon's rays. He was a wanderer, and a strong wolf. He sat at the edge of unknown terras, as a perfume of scents filled his nares, unknown, unreal scents, of wolves, brutes and faes, pups, alpha's and betas, almost anything. He sat back 'pon his gams, his maw raised to the heavens, his mouth open in a long howl. His ears twitched, waiting for a responce, as he smiled slyly, his own scent filling the rough wind's airs. His eyes held a small twinkle, and if he could be trusted, it was up to you to decide. He was a trustworty brute, though, some mistaked his playful appearance for a gruff one, or a troublemaking one, and stayed away from his trust limits. Then others, true friends, made a trustworthy, caring friend that wouldn't ever abandon them.
His eyes were clouded with stories of long ago, folk tales and true tales, adventures and new-findings, laughter and hurt, love and hate, which he kept inside, distant memories, unless a small whelp approached him, asking for a tale, or it was his turn to tell a story at the pack meetings, or maybe, just for someone he cared about. His eyes raised to the Heavens, as the light of the cloud-hidden moon surrounded him, playing with his black-hued fur and changing it's colors. His golden eyes stayed the same, with the laughing twinkle in them that said to stay near, that said he was looking for friends, a family, a home.
His intentions were to protect any pack he was sent to, maybe as beta, maybe as a subordinate. But he would protect, help raise the pack members, train them with tough love, mentally and physically, just the way he was raised. His howl was released as a song, this time, a song that raised his pride, his strength, his laughing ways, his name....Souffles, meaning 'breath' in French. And that's just what he was. A breath of air, living on this long, hard-core world, a breath of air, sometimes treated with great, deserved respect, sometimes overlooked. A breath of air, always there, even when it doesn't seem like it, keeping you alive and well, staying with you always. That's just what he was.
A breath of air.
