I have to wait 7 weeks to see Kurt in CSOI (sigh), but I can't wait to hear about his next upcoming U.S. dates!! I'm so looking forward to CSOI ... I can barely stand it!!
Waiting for CSOI ... so many emotions ....
Don't mind me ... my life's kind of topsy turvy right now, so I never know when I'm going to get a chance to be on-line ... I miss playing with all the smilies
to put it midly... I am going through some SERIOUS Kurt withdrawl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
During Paul Wylie's number last night in Syracuse, I started to sing Ding Dong Daddy... I need me a Kurt fix! Also, I added my Syracuse photos to the Photography forum.

Re: Stars on Ice
Seeing Paul in Hartford was exciting because I hadn't seen him skate in six years...seeing Paul skate in Worcester was fun because well he's from Massachusetts...seeing Paul skate in Syracuse was nice but I'm ready for some Kurt! Albany here we come!!!!!!!
Re: Stars on Ice
2 MORE DAYS!! WOOHOO!! As a Massachusettian, I will miss Paul, but I do get to see him again at the end of the tour. So, I am definitely ready for some Kurt action! I think I'm most excited to see how Kurt plays with the transition numbers (like "Timing is Everything" and the one where they run out of time) more than anything else!

Just a reminder about tonight's A&E broadcast of the Lake Placid SOI show...and yes, it sounds like they will actually broadcast this year's show this time (scroll down the page to read the SOI news release):
Of course, this means we likely won't get to see Kurt in tonight's A&E broadcast, but for those of us who've only seen this year's SOI in photos so far, it'll still be great to finally see the entire programs! I'm especially looking forward to seeing Jamie and David's "ballroom" routine.
Re: Stars on Ice
jcspkbfan, what a shame they did not show the Ballroom number, which kind of surprised me. CAWM is such a boring number, Ballroom would have been much better than that on TV! I would have liked to have that on tape too.
Re: Stars on Ice
Uggh, I was not happy A&E chacked S&P's "Ballroom" number! That was the one performance I most looked forward to seeing for the first time and I was so sure it would be included in the broadcast since it was shown during a British broadcast of this year's SOI show.
I do like "Come Away With Me" (although not quite as much as "Who Wants To Live Forever"), but I already have a copy of that number from last December's "Holiday Festival On Ice" show. If A&E could only show one of S&P's programs, I would have much rather seen the one that hasn't been televised anywhere else yet.
I guess we'll just have to wait for the Canadian SOI broadcast to see "Ballroom" on TV...or find a few British fans willing to tape trade.
BTW, while I watched (and enjoyed) Todd's flamenco program, I couldn't help but imagine how much awesome footwork Kurt could have performed to that music. Anyone else willing to admit they had the same reaction?
Re: Stars on Ice
So last night was Albany!! Kurt in the house he skated really well and got a thunderous ovation when he 1st took the ice, it was so good to see him out there. I can't believe how different SOI feels without him being in the core cast. None the less he skated great, and damn I've missed him!!
One random note... during Moondance, his pants looked way to short and he had white socks on. It was distracting! Me and my mom were laughing about that while he was skating.
Re: Stars on Ice
Kurt MADE SOI what is was... so it's definetly been different without him this season. I'm just excitied to see him on CSOI and how he'll be more of a main character, which is always good for Kurt!!
Re: Stars on Ice
So glad Kurt didn't disappoint at Albany ( yah, right, like that would ever happen!!). My next Kurt fix isn't until late April in Hamilton. I'm just counting the days!!!
Re: Stars on Ice
I am really excitied to see how Kurt gets incorporated into the group numbers in CSOI since there is a larger cast for that portion of the tour, should be interesting!
