Supplies Master Checklist
As I go through the list of supplies, I will add them to this post, which will serve as the final list of stuff needed.

1. Rod supports or jig.
2. Cork and handle clamps.
3. Thread tension device.
4. Clamps for 1 & 3 and/or lead weights.
5. Variable speed drill & base.
6. Rod drying motor.
7. Cork Reamers.
8. Tail stock center.
9. Sanding blocks & paper.
10. Flex Coat 2 part epoxy glue
11. Flex Coat 2 part wrapping finish.
12. U-40 cork seal.
13. Package of finishing brushes.
14. Package of wood (popcicle sticks) mixing sticks.
15. Package of disposable measuring/mixing cups.
16. Surgical tubing of varying ID’s, guide placement aids.
17. 1" masking tape & 3/4" reinforced straping tape.
18. Thread burnishing (smoothing) tool.
19. Low end or dial type caliper.
20. Gallon of acetone.
21. Good supply of rags and/or paper towels.
22. Tacky cloth for removing lint & such from the threads.
23. Supply of good quality razor blades & utility knife.
24. Thread/fly tying scissors, ones suitable for fine work.
25. Good pair of tweezers, again for fine work if possible.
26. Small pocket rule with mm and 1/16’s for thread work.
27. Color thread you want to work with & color preserver.

I might have forgotten some things, but aside from the actual rod parts (will be next), the above is the list of things you will need to get started.
