Trolling Motor?
I'm shopping for a new boat and will probably go with a Lund 20 Alaskan dual console, because of my saltwater fishing 1/2 the year. Since my Motor Guide Great White w/55# thrust was just shy of what I needed on some days, I'm going to go for the max thrust I can get and the 60 inch shaft.

Anyone running a 36V BWGWB 107V Great White Hand controlled unit for the bow? I'd be curious what your feelings are on that motor. Now a question for anyone running any 36V motor. Does the cranking battery typically become the 3rd battery, or am I looking at 4 batteries?

Any other recommendations on high thrust motors, with 60 inch shafts, one that will withstand the beating I'm going to dish out and hold up to salt water? The other motor that looked interesting, but didn't appear to come with coated/sealed electronics which I think would be important for my salt water fishing, was the Minn Kota Genesis Autopilot in 74# thrust, 24V and 60 inch shaft. Just don't know how that would hold up in the salt.

Want to get this decision made, in case I want to have it purchased/installed so I can roll it into the financing. Tight lines.
