Type O Negative I have been on this gloom goth metal type kick for a long time, and Type O Negative is the best of their kind with out a doubt. Their new one is due this monday... I love their music (although no where near the level of Fractured Mirror) and sometimes I get the itch to compose a mindscape or two after a listen. |

The local alternative radio station I listen to plays their music sometimes, and if I'm in the mood for it I enjoy it a lot. I don't think I've ever heard of Fractured Mirror...?

Re: Type O Negative Wow! Cool! The most powerful piece of music I know, and even now a favorite that I listen to at least once a week. When I get in a certain mood, I drink my absinth and listen to it for hours. Enchanting. Simply enchanting. And I will tell you all something I never have revealed before.. I had this song playing almost non-stop during the Gulf War. |

Re: Type O Negative I remember! It's a song, not the name of a group like I had been thinking ... it jogged in my brain when Julia commented that you'd posted about it before. I did finally get to hear that song and I can see why it's so powerful for you. |

Re: Type O Negative That is an interesting tidbit. I can see where playing the song nonstop would be helpful. Seems like that was a rough time for you? How does it feel to be on the other side of it? |
