Weapons

Victoria is an amazing investigator, with a startling depth and breadth of knowledge and ability in deduction and analysis. She is amongst the greatest detectives in Jones City, able to quickly draw accurate conclusions from limited evidence. She supports her deductive and observational skill with a great deal of study in the fields of forensics and criminology. She can utilize a wide range of scientific equipment dedicated to the examination of a crime scene, and she has a knack for getting inside the heads of criminals. There are few mysteries that Victoria cannot solve given time and resources.

Victoria is a detective, and like any good detective, she has a kit for collecting and analyzing evidence from a crime scene. This portable forensics kit has labeled sample bags, fingerprinting gear, gas chromatograph, and a detachable video camera. It provides its user with enough evidence analysis equipment to do an initial review of a clue or a whole crime scene, though detailed analysis may require time at one of the forensics labs and an examining computer.

While she trained, near ten years ago in the Academy of Police Training, she received lessons from one of the greatest hand-to-hand fighters alive - her father, who was a Police Captain before his untimely demise - since the day she could walk straight, and it shows. Her fighting prowess is fierce -- almost unmatched against most, putting her among the most deadly hand-to-hand combatants alive. Combined with her impressive athletic prowess, and you have someone no street thug - and many hardened villains, for that matter - couldn't hope to defeat - let alone kill - with anything other than luck. However she's used to opponents made of normal bone and meat parts, no where near as skilled enough to be her own militia or being capable of taking out large groups at one time like the Mafia or the Old Town Girls. All the same, most humans would be better off seeking more wholesome lines of work than cross her path -- especially when it is a one on one fight, or even a three on one.

Perhaps even more deadly than her hand-to-hand combat skills, Victoria shows experience in having nearly perfected her marksmanship capabilities. She is intimately familiar with every conventional firearm that could possibly be used by any criminal, to include automatic pistols and revolvers, submachine guns, shotguns, assault and sporting rifles, sniper rifles, and even light, medium, and heavy machine guns. While she possesses none of these weapons, her arsenal at home -- home to dual pair of USP Compact Series, she has done her research and whil etraining in the Academy has learned to operate those weapons if need be. Victoria is also skilled in several more archaic or exotic ranged weapons such as bows, blowguns, slings, and crossbows. Her level of skill is easily a match for competitive shooters, and professional 'black operatives', rivalled only by the likes of Mercenaries, Mafia Hitman/women, and Old Town Girls alike. She is easily capable of making shots even under pressure or during unfavorable conditions such as bad weather, being wounded, or into large crowds or groups of people. Range is barely a consideration for her, and suffice to say that her accuracy is scarcely effected so long as she is within a range that her current weapon is reasonably capable of.

Description

Her hair is golden, touched by the hands of Apollo, reminiscant of morning sunrise on a warm spring day devoid of rain clouds. Her skin is fair, soft, bearing a natural tan that is very light -- managing to mesh well with a mane of wavy sunkissed tresses that frame a pair of high set cheek bones, and rather slim shoulders quite comfortably. Victoria is a woman whose personality molds the way she carries herself obviously so. Her eyelids rest over crystalline blue eyes most of the time. Never is she wide awake, but rather a woman whose energy is driven by a cup of coffee (decaf) and the sticks of nicotine, that can at times, be found dangling rather freely between a set of picaune lips that has never seen a bit of lip gloss in her entire life. Chapstick perhaps, but nothing in particular that'll cause them to stand out unless she's on a mission. Victoria's attractiveness is one that can truly be termed as classical. She is a rather slender woman with an athletic form which one could imagine the ancient athletes of the first Olympic games bore with good grace. Victoria is not 'sexy' in the sense that is commonly brought to mind, but coupled with her amazing charisma has something that goes far beyond it.

Her height is something that measures off unevenly at five feet ten inches in a half (5'10 ½"). She's rather tall one might say, and one of the more noticeable features of her being could possibly be said to be her long, yet slender legs. This could definately be said to be an advantage when she's on assignment and has to chase down her target, her legs managing to give her that certain push to run certain distances. Jogging and Sprinting adds to the ideals of such a true notion as well, given every morning before dawn, she is out taking her morning jog to ready her for the day. It could possibly be said that she doesn't sleep what so ever, each night she managing to get in three hours at most before she's fully rejuvinated and ready for the day. She feels as if a nap is all the time that she should be alotted due to much crime in Jones City, and the corrupted policemen and women in the force that could be working from the inside tot urn their backs against those few good cops like herself. A woman that takes her job seriously, Victoria has goals and one of those goals is to climb the rankings of the police ladder so that she could make right what has become unjust since her fathers death.

There is something beyond simple beauty that draws men and women alike to Victoria. Her presence is almost a tangible entity that is felt by all those who have chance to pass a handful of words with the woman. It's this same charisma that holds dignitaries enthralled, makes her friends easily, and encourages others to follow her lead when she's on duty. The force of this aspect of Victoria could almost be a power unto itself. She's heard the rumors of course. Her greatest asset is her natural ability to inspire loyalty, courage, and honor in those that would be at her side. Due to this just nature she seems to present, it also shows in the way that she carries herself and in the way she dresses. She is a woman who's closet is filled with clothing that ranges from comfortable fitting slacks of nearly every color, to nice blouses or button up collared shirts. She's not above suspenders and blazers that often times manages to hides her shoulder holsters -- home to her dual pair of guns that she's often proficient in using more times than not. She doesn't have qualms with a dress or a skirt, however, given that she is indeed a woman that is in touch with her femininity. There are days that warrant such attire from her, even nights, more or less when she's undercover.

Most of the time when wearing such attire, she tends to conceal a small dagger in a sheath that wraps about her thighs and long legs. Something that's easily grasped when she can use lengthy fingers to grab up the hemming of the skirt or dress and reach for it rather smoothly in one grasp. From time to time she may even holster a gun there, something small, and not easily noticeable. Such attire often times doesn't allow for her normal dual pair of glocks that she often uses, so she has to revert to something smaller and more concealable. Things like hair pins which are often times deadly, or even the black or red pumps that adorn her rather slender feet. Due to a rather tall height, she often times tries to shy away from such things as dresses and skirts. Because of rather long legs she tends to get unwarranted attention from alot of Johns, attention that she doesn't often ask for or even want for that matter, so if she could help it she'd rather stick with her slacks and blouses instead. Her true beauty isn't often noticeable, not for who she is as a person, and when she is undercover the English woman is barely identified so she is usually seen as the 'alias' she has to take. The 'alias' is what's attractive to most, and as such alot of individuals miss the classical beauty underneath.

Personality

Protective
Victoria Boulstridge has some wealth (though not much), vast resources, and an incredible catalog of skills and talents. For all of these props, though, she would give it all up to have her mother and father back. This was only the first of the many painful losses Victoria would suffer, but it is the one most responsible for her fear of losing other people she loves and cares about. This fear has driven her to take extraordinary care when deciding whom she invites into her private life, and it has also made her take precautions to protect these people once they have become important to her -- part of the reason she has become an Cop. As difficult as it is for her to connect with people, the thought of losing those she has learned to trust haunts her constantly. The brutal killing of Franklin King, her ward and second partner, remains a deep wound on her psyche, and she does not wish to experience such pain again - even if that means a lonely and guarded life.

Cunning
While many law enforcment are straightforward and direct in their methods, this english female prefers more underhanded and subtle practices. As an experienced cop, she's learned that all war is deception, a lesson Victoria has taken to heart. She knows how to prepare and execute ingenious and complicated plans, and she can quickly develop guileful stratagems on the fly. More importantly, she knows how to obscure these schemes and conceal her true motives from others. This devious quality has a double-edge, though, as it can be difficult for her to earn the trust of others, yet at the same time it makes her a truly experienced undercover cop when she has a job to do.

Calculating
Victoria is almost always trying to think ten steps ahead of everybody else. Even when there's no immediate benefit to her plotting, she has numerous schemes set aside for specific, hypothetical scenarios. She sees this as a necessity; she cannot rely on toughness or her mind alone to come to her aid in a crisis, sos he must be well-prepared. This trait is not without its cost, as her contingency plans can (and have been) used by enemies against her or her comrades.

Enigmatic
The English Cop is a woman of mystery, naturally hiding who she really is on the inside and her true motives behind a cloak of secrecy. She has cultivated an aura of supernatural ability and mythic untouchability in this manner, one that she relies upon to survive her nightly battles with crime and injustice. Even if this shroud is pierced by knowledge of her mortality and origin, though, she can still remain rather unknowable; she has taken numerous steps to guard against outsiders figuring out her secrets, and she is generally aloof and guarded. In some ways, Victoria is a mystery even to herelf, that undercover persona growing to shadowy proportions even she can't always comprehend.

Obsessive
Victoria is driven in just about everything she does, with an exceptionally keen focus and sense of purpose. While this is most obviously shown in her self-training and nightly patrolling, it can come up in other spheres of interest. Should a given criminal cause her particular personal harm, or if a given social ill comes close to home, she is likely to narrow her attention and efforts to resolving the given problem. She can go for days without sleep or a good meal, and she has come to rely on Geoffrey and her other friends to let her know when she's taking something too far. In the absence of such influence and advice, she can be pushed close to the edge.

Discerning
Victoria is an attentive and gifted mistress of deduction, which affects her demeanor and relationships with others. She can usually pick up on a particular person's mental and emotional attitude without much prodding, and while she may not immediately respond to this knowledge, she possesses an acute understanding of human nature. There have even been times when she has predicted the next thing another person was going to say or do before they even thought of it themselves. With this in mind, she often cuts conversations short or drives them toward practical objectives; personal expression is not so important to her as taking care of business. On the other hand, if she is feeling particularly empathic, she can be a superb judge of character and advisor to those she cares for.

Heroic
For all of the darkness in her life, for all of the gloom and brooding of her demeanor, she is a dedicated cop for the forces of those that are Good and Just. Even if she hadn't become an Undercover Cop, Victoria Boulstridge would have likely continued her philanthropic efforts and tried to do what she could to heal society's ills and help those in need. As it is, she thinks nothing of regularly risking her own life to protect the innocent and aid the cause of justice. Whether its from the Old Town Dames or the Johns of the Mafia, Victoria will always do what she can to intervene on behalf of mankind.

Pragmatic
Victoria believes that one must be prepared for the worst possible circumstance if one is to be prepared at all. She has a matter-of-fact approach to fighting crime, malcontent, and the life of a Cop in general, and she has little patience for those she perceives as naive or impractical. Victoria is guided by practical experience and observation rather than theory, and while she is certainly an idealist, she prefers logic to emotion.
