What inspires you?
So, writers, artists, what inspires you? For me, I had always wanted to write but never had an inspiration until I had this Zendall idea that had been brewing in my head for months. I knew would it never see my TV screen, so I finally decided to write it myself.

I actually started before that in small bursts with rewriting song lyrics (Weird Al style), writing poetry, short stories too short to even be considered one-shots, really, and from there, the first fic, all Zencentric.

Now I'm just inspired by putting pencil to paper and filling pages and seeing it go from there to computer to post. I am even branching out into other (non-Zen) areas, although Zendall will always be my first love and my first inspiration.

So, what is it for you?

I have to credit Zen with it as well, although a friend of mine at work was taking a screenwriting class. He reminded me of how much I used to enjoy writing...and that I hadn't done it in years. Add to that Gidget's Zen music videos over at Z&K and voila'! Inspiration. (I still blame her. LOL!)

What started out as something for fun and a hobby is now making me rethink career paths and choices. Funny how that happens.

Writing has become a sort of therapy, a way to be creative. I can honestly say I love it when the muse is there. LOL!

ETA: OMG, KZ! How could I forget bad TV?

Bad TV. The worse the show, the more I want to write. If the show is good, all I want to do is watch the clips over and over again and the writing is abandoned. For me it's quite the conundrum.
