Where to find psychological studies?
Where do writers and journalists go to find published results of recent psychological studies? I'd like to know of several places, including the kind you might have to pay for
It's a very broad field so it would depend on the type of study. There is Psychology Today for general reading, then I would go to specific scholarly journals like the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.

National Institutes of Health
WAMI (Wash. Advocates for the mentally ill)
I don't have time to look myself right now but I promise if you search google you will find more sources than you know what to do with. I have done so in the last year for personal reasons and there is more published info by doctors than you can read.
For example search for "studies+schizophrenia" or "studies+mental illness"
Also search/look up books by Kay Redfield Jamison. She wrote a book on her own mental illness and it's full of biblio.
The Noonday Demon by Soloman chock full as well.

Also check your local university. The one I attended subscribes to several features. We as students have access to numeous journals and other peer-reviewed articles from good sources. There are two ways to access ours, either by logging in remotely using our student ID and password, or by being on campus in any of the labs or the library. You would need to check how they are accessed at your location.
