I prefer Monte's alternate ranger from BoHM. I do not like the 3.5 ranger.

Only ever seen Monte's ranger played once. Don't really know that much about it. All I know is the 3.5 ranger is a vast improvement over 3.0.

I agree, for the most part, but I do not like the new image of the ranger as a stealthy scout instead of a wilderness warrior. Also, I really don't like their pseudo feat chains.

For some reason the 3.5 ranger plays better in my groups. However I would do the ranger much differently...

To be honest there are things about the current Ranger I distest.
