Wonderful news for Canadian skating fans--it looks like CBC has worked out a deal with the ISU to broadcast not only Worlds, but Four Continents and the GP Final, too! :rollin Someone just posted a news release about it on the S&P forum:

For those of you who can't access the S&P board (you have to register to post *and* lurk there now), it's a four-year deal which will include not only Worlds, 4CCs and the GPF, but starting next season, CBC will also broadcast "a minimum of three Grand Prix events." So it looks like Canadian skating fans can breathe easy until 2007, at least. :)

I was hoping CBC would broadcast at least 2004 Worlds and 4CCs this season (since 4CCs is actually taking place in Canada this year, I thought it would be a shame if no Canadian network broadcast that one in particular), but I never dreamed they'd pick up the GP events CTV/TSN is no longer showing. Talk about icing on the cake! :rollin

Any idea when they'll be airing NHK and the Grand Prix Final? I can't find info on the CBC website.

GPF:
Dec.27 3pm and Dec. 28 3pm both on CBC.

They wont show any of the grand prix events this year.
