As many of you know, we Kelvins just played a show with Yellow9. They're a very cool rock band [albeit with a couple of fashion issues] - go check them out when they're in the area.

their web site is: www.yellow9.com - it's all Flash, so if you don't have it, get it first...

I'll post about some more of my favorites [and not-so-favorites] in the near future.

Thanks for the mention Greg. The Kelvins, are just as good as us with much more of a flair for fashion!

Too funny! Just put the engineer's cap on your amp instead of your head - that way you pay your respect and look fashionable!

Naturally, I'm down with the takeover myself. Of course, we'll do it as a collective group of bands, so no need for a front row seat when you can be a part of it!

As for the hunt for a guitar player, I'm a bit disapointed by how few people have actually shown up for the [cattle-call-style] auditions so far. We're going to need to place another ad, I think...

The Take Over...

Of course, you are very, very right, the only way to take it over is in a group of friends.

Musical friends. Most of the time I actually think I enjoy being a fan more than a musician.

I had a power trio for 3+ years - it's too much work! Besides, I've written all of the Kelvins songs to have intertwining dual guitar parts and harmonies [Jay and Mike don't sing].

Agreed about Jay, he's a great guy and drummer both.

We will make 2003 the year of The Great Connecticut Rock Revival!
