aquatic frogs?
Anyone else have aquatic frogs in their tanks? We have 2, and they are great fun to watch. Just curious if anyone ever catches them eating? We feed out frog and tadpole food, and have never seen them eat it (they must be though to be thriving). I did however catch one once nabbing a live brine shrimp. I know these little guys are suppose to be nocturnal, and they seem to come to life late at night, so I have been feeding them before I go to bed.
Re: aquatic frogs?
I has nine "sewer" frogs when i was about ten. I just loved them -- they were tiny and animated little guys. Yes, I caught them by a smelly sewer pipe at my aunt and uncle's farm. I was thrilled when Mom said I could keep them -- I slept all the way home with my arms wrapped around the big glass pickle jar containing my new pals. Unfortunately, one day I dropped the bowl -- and did they scatter!! We found six right away. Two others turned up in each of the bathrooms -- to the dismay fo the family member making a midnight visit! One never showed again. Mom finally convinced me they'd be happier at the creek. But what a great memory!
