art installation - the weather project This is in reference to The Weather Project, an installation by Olafur Eliasson, in the Tate Modern in London. This exhibit had a big impact on me. There wasn't any particular feeling, but an overall sense of calm and awe. I also enjoyed watching other people's reactions when they walked into the room. I immediately was rendered silent, and since I can frequently be talkative, that's quite a feat. I loved the way everyone was laying out watching their reflection in the mirror above and the orange/yellow glow was so curious. Here's a blurb from the website about it: Quote: ![]() And a website of other images, www.outwardlynormal.com/images/galleries/weather/ . I took some photos also, but haven't gotten them developed yet. In fact I have quite a bit of film over the past month or so that I have yet to get developed, heh. |

Re: art installation - the weather project That looks fascinating! I can see why the project would have an impact. It looks like a dreamy or otherworldly place. It's awesome that you've been able to experience it. |
