The place where you can come to talk about games, anime, writing, or whatever else crosses your mind. No flaming or spam allowed. Period. If the admins see it, it gets deleted. Spam belongs in the Advertising forum, and flaming belongs on another board.

Ideas or suggestions for the board go here. All ideas are welcome, even if you think we'll think it's stupid. That includes criticisms! Criticism is how we evolve. And besides, it makes the admins nervous when no one's telling them what they're doing wrong. Just be sure whatever you say, be polite.

Workshop
This is the Workshop forum, where players can comment on the RP of other players, provided their character sheet says they accept public comments and criticism. There is even less tolerance for disrespect and flaming in this forum than the others since it is such a sensetive subject. This forum exists as a place for players to help other players write better, not as a place to vent personal frustrations or build your own ego.

Genki
This forum is where players are asked to keep a post recording their Genki (or stamina) score so that other people can have a rough idea of what their character is capable of and so the admins can make sure everyone's playing fair.

Absent Characters
Characters whose players have let the board know they are on an extended vacation are kept here. If you want your character to be moved here, just post in the TLA forum to let everyone know when you're going to be gone.

News
The World-wide broadcast news channel, heard on radio and TV alike. This is where you can read up on events and other happenings that may or may not affect your character's story. Players are allowed to post here too, although it needs to be restricted to relatively important information. Deaths and killing/destructive sprees are examples of this. If you'd expect to see it on CNN, it can go in here.

NWC Headquarters
The New World Council home base, located on the scenic and Nation-neutral island chain formerly known as Hawaii. This is where the Council sits and runs the world. Protected by the most advanced working technology available, for most the only hope of seeing it is on TV or by reaching the finals of the New World Conquest Tournament.

Asia
These history-rich lands in the eastern hemisphere are not known for their fighting during the war. In fact, while most nations were fighting, China and Japan quickly joined forces and rounded up the stray and unmanned countries to add to their boundaries. They now successfully control all major quick-trade routes between the eastern and western hemispheres and are quite prosperous.

North America
Located in the western hemisphere, this was the most diverse and open country on Earth until the war came. Now it is a cold land full of broken cities and spirits, with closed borders on all sides to protect it from the threats it perceives... and those it is truly threatened by.

South America
All things illegal come out of this nation, from drugs to armaments. The World Military is very hesitant to house here, due to the violent and anti-government guerrilla soldiers that are active in this area.

Europe
Now considered the most diverse nation, due to the large assortment of territories within its boundaries, it is a cesspool of media and strict law. Very low in resources, it makes up for lack of trade with many armed forces.

Soviet Republic of Russia
Perhaps the strongest nation, the Soviet Union, as it was once called, is used as heavy backing against the petty wars that break out in most nations. It's soldiers are now well known for their harsh but effective methods of war, and this is reflected in their Tournament record.

Middle East
The World's least-favored nation, blamed by many for starting the war that nearly destroyed the world, they somehow survived the war and it's after-effects, though their economy was destroyed. However, with the lack of prevalent major electronics, oil is in heavy demand and their near-monopoly on it still gives them a major leverage, just as before the war.

Australia
A land nearly devoid of life and filled with many prisons. Taking a page out of now-ancient history, enemies of the World Council and other dangerous criminals are sent here to maximum-security lock-ups. The exception to this is the islands of Oceanea, which remain the world's most popular tourist destinations, open to people of all nations.

Africa
Reduced to a veritable wasteland during the start of the war, it surprised everyone by growing back at a speed unparalelled by anything else. It is now a mysterious no-man's land whose contents are not fully understood even now. It is not technically a nation, though many seek to make it one.

Antarctica
Once a wasteland of arctic ice-caps, a veritable death trap to any warm-blooded creature, the war caused much of the ice to melt and managed to display portions of the land that had been buried for eons. It is still hard to maintain life here, but it is no longer impossible.
