engine noise in speahers ?
hi pat
it's phil (i got you 're p-flow) i hooked up my sound systeme in my carbut when i screwed the amp to my back seat i get engine noise thru the speakers ??would you know why ? i am not an expert on sound systemes i figure it must have something to do with the ground.I know the back seat is metal behind carpet.when i just leave it it the trunk it's ok .give me shout back

Its your RCA wire.....its the wire pluged into the back of your CD player to your amp.....its not "good enough quality" and is causing the interferance threw your speakers.....i used to have it too but then i bought the $65.00 Phoenix Gold RCA wire and it worked.....otherwise dont screw it into metal :-)

Thats my suggestion

noise in spk
pass the 12v+ on one side and all the rest(spk and rca wires) on the ohther

Actually engine noise in the speakers specialy when you just rev the car can also come from a not good enough ground! Sometimes it is the rca but a properly placed one wont get that interfearence and usually a good ground takes away the noise! Why would you pay 65 $ for something that cost 4$ to make?? LOL I hate big companies! N-e ways that a different topic!
