eye makeup sealant/fixatant Is this stuff good? What is a good brand to use? I am looking for something that will keep my eyeliner shadow in place and keep in dark. I saw some stuff on amphigory.com called 'stuck on you'. Anyone used it? I came up with a bright idea of dabbing hairspray on my lids after lining. Any suggestions? |

old skool
Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. I've had a lot of experience with theater/stage make-up. Sealants and fixants sometimes work, but are all too expensive! Aqua-Net baby Aqua-Net! Close eyelids carefully, no squinting, hold your breath, hold hair-spray approximately 8" away from your face and spray lightly, moving can back-forth, up-down all over face and chin. The key is your eyelids, closed carefully, and look up inside your eyelids to stretch them properly.
Even street make-up(as apposed to grease-paints, stage stuff) will hold up for four hours under spot, gobo, and hot stagelights with a thin layer of Auqa-Net over it. Oh, and Aqua-Net is aslo an excellent sealant for charcol drawings and pastels. -l "the more I think, the worse I get; the more I get, the worse I am.." |

thanks! That worked great! It held my eyeshadow in place all night and kept it nice and dark. Thanks! |
