fancy dress I have to come up with a fancy dress costume for new years eve... nothing like making things complicated at the last minute - we've decided to go on a fancy dress pub crawl. I've got no ideas, so: what should I dress as what is the best fancy dress costume you've ever done? A goth, or a which is cheeting.... I might trawl round the charity shops, and see what I can find - if I can find a ball gown or something I could just wander round the pub in that, with a fan, and some fake pearls or something... |

what me and my death metal friend did last halloween was go as like christians/goody goody two shoes.. it was hilarious... blue levi jeans.. white shirt.. backwards baseball cap... jesus saves iron on transfer.... it was dead sexy I hafta dress up fancy style for nye too... the made it a come as your fav era whatever the hell that means.. so i went fuck it... ill go as whatever i make up.. so i went fabric shopping.. and got some furry shit.. and going as some.. medievil barbarian thing.. i unno... its whatever i threw together.. this is the bottom half homepages.ihug.com.au/~dcharity/mebttom.jpg (i didn't paste the pic straight in for those eating or whatever) and this is the top half... be warned.. the pics were taking with a webcam from a couple metres away.. so this one kinda makes me have a tiny head on a brick shithouse body... scary... homepages.ihug.com.au/~dcharity/metop.jpg so yeah... ta da to say a single human life is insignificant is to give it too much credit |

Re: fancy dress I was lucky. I went round all the charity shops and found a chineesy jacket to wear. OF course it was in the last shop I had left to look in, so I had to go round them all again to find some trousers to wear with it... but yep - yay for charity shops

Re: fancy dress You guys dress up for New Year's? Last year, I spend the night in bed in my PJs on the phone. When I do get to go out, I will put on some sparkles and jewelry, but I don't really dress up. _____________________ |

Re: fancy dress We dress up here, too, for events and parties and such. It all depends, though. The clubs this year waited a little long to announce their themes, so they won't be getting much in the way of cooperation. Doesn't matter, though - I'm going to this for NYE, if I can swing it. Re: fancy dress I will be drunk in the pub... I'n not really into loud crowded pubs, but it's either that or stay home... and I'd rather spend it with my mates than alone... next year I will have moved out of my parents house, and so the party will be chez me! |
